So for our purposes we'll call it the DC5's new baby brother!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Designed to be the ultimate Type R in Japan, the Japanese Domestic Market (&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;JDM&lt;/span&gt;) Honda Civic FD2 &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2"&gt;supersedes&lt;/span&gt; the &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"&gt;Integra&lt;/span&gt; DC5 Type R Coupe as Honda's Flagship performance road racer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;With factory modifications to the 2.0 V-&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4"&gt;Tec&lt;/span&gt; K20A engine, including: 'Drive by Wire', re-surfacing head ports as well as tuning inlet and exhaust ports the output is now up to 225 &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5"&gt;bhp&lt;/span&gt; with 215 &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6"&gt;Nm&lt;/span&gt; of torque at a lazy for a V-&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7"&gt;Tec&lt;/span&gt; 6100 rpm.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The real trick though is in the handling, much improved by utilising the light weight saloon &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_8"&gt;body shell's&lt;/span&gt; rigidity and then hanging exclusive to FD2 Type R suspension and specially tuned ABS / &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_9"&gt;EBD&lt;/span&gt; system. So, this is essential conditioning for the Britsh Winter with the roads covered in salt. Sorry to say that your lovely imported car may have an underside as clean as the exterior when it arrives, even with a liberal coat of Waxoil, it won't be quite as clean after six months.
